This is a year-long project where each month I take a series of three black and white self portraits in square format, documenting my fears, vulnerabilities and my inner darkness.
In this project I explore what I’ve learned about myself, especially coming out of the pandemic, and trying to find some normalcy in this new world.
The series focuses on themes such as time-stress, death, superstition, my career as an artist, the feeling that I’m being pulled down by weights, and the time I was almost killed by a train as a young lad.
